On Saturday March 12th at 5.30 pm the group exhibition “FEMMINA” will be inaugurated in the restored rooms of Palazzo Zanardi-Landi di Guardamiglio (Lo) by Francesca Baboni, realized with the patronage of the municipality of Guardamiglio and the Lions Club of San Rocco al Porto. Basso Lodigiano, in collaboration with the cultural association “Operadarte” of Codogno, organization of Maurizio Caprara. The title of the exhibition, written as if it were an acronym or a trademark, intends to be allusive and aggressive, to reiterate a role that is not always recognized, that of women in the contemporary in the month dedicated to women. The invited artists, Sonia Andreani, Anna Maria Falsetti, Paola Foppiani, Vanessa Galli, Giulia Maglionico, Silvia Marchesini, Paola Mazzoni, Paola Pacella, Giovanna Sottini, are 9 women of different generations belonging to the Emilia and Lombard territory, already recognized nationally , which are compared on three different stylistic genres, photography, painting and sculpture, with different and even unpublished methods. Females in the true sense of the word, women of character, who tackle current and crude themes that are not always politically correct and that bring to light the various facets of the soul and the imaginary of a not too sweetened femininity.
